Full speed is obtained by shorting the red +10 VDC wire and yellow VSP wire. For 0-10 VDC control, the fan starts above 1.0 VDC and stops below 0.5 VDC. PWM control uses a recommended 10 VDC amplitude and 1-10 kHz frequency; the fan starts above 10% duty and stops below 5% duty. A 10 kOhm potentiometer may also be used.

The fan provides a speed output signal. The Vfg supply and pull-up resistor are connected by the customer. Vfg = 3.3-30 VDC; R >= 1000 x Vfg Ohm.

Note

Connect the power and control lines strictly according to the wiring diagram to prevent damage to the fan.

Do not connect the white signal wire directly to the red signal wire or an external DC power supply.

If the fan does not operate after starting, check the speed-control input voltage. To prevent injury caused by sudden fan start-up, do not touch the impeller or rotor after power is applied.

The fan takes several seconds to start after power-on. Do not touch the impeller or rotor while energized or operating at low speed.

Before switching on the power, verify that the motor is installed securely to prevent motor damage and personal injury.

Do not pull the power cord forcefully. A damaged power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer to avoid electric shock.

Do not drop or impact the motor.

Do not wash or flush the motor, as reduced insulation performance may cause leakage and personal danger.

For customized operation outside the agreed working conditions, consult Blauberg and confirm suitability before use.

After the fan stops, the motor casing may remain hot for a short time. Take precautions to prevent burns.

During installation, ensure that no debris enters the casing or other housings; clean the interior if necessary.

Before installation and operation, rotate the rotor by hand and confirm there is no collision, interference or jamming.

The motor is part of the fan and must not be operated without an impeller or load.

Store repackaged units in a clean, ventilated warehouse at -40 deg C to +80 deg C, relative humidity no more than 95%, without corrosive gas and at least 15 cm above the ground.

Install the fan out of the reach of children and do not allow children to use this product.

Life and Maintenance, Warranty

The design life is 50,000 hours, limited by the ball-bearing life at 40 deg C. Actual service life varies with temperature, humidity, installation method, fan load and other operating conditions.

Clean and maintain the fan every 3-6 months according to the operating environment.

The whole-machine warranty period is two years from the delivery date. Quality-related failures are covered; damage caused by improper disassembly, handling, man-made damage, natural disasters or force majeure is excluded.
