The Blauberg GY-B400E-EC-L38 is a three-phase EC backward-curved centrifugal plug fan with a support frame and metal impeller. It accepts 380-480 VAC at 50/60 Hz, operates at 2250 RPM, and provides 0-10 VDC, PWM or 4-20 mA control, status relay contacts, RS485 communication and tachometer feedback.

Tachometer feedback: The fan provides an open-collector speed output. The customer supplies Vfg and the pull-up resistor; Vfg = 3-30 VDC and R must be at least 1000 x Vfg ohms. The 4-20 mA input supports full speed at 20 mA, minimum speed at 4.5 mA and stop at 3.2 mA or below.
- Connect the power and control lines strictly according to the wiring diagram to prevent fan damage.
- Do not connect the white signal wire directly to the red signal wire or an external DC power supply.
- If the fan does not run after starting, check the speed-control input voltage and wiring. Do not touch the impeller or rotor after power is applied.
- The fan takes several seconds to start. Do not touch the impeller or rotor while energized or operating at low speed.
- For EMC compliance according to EN 55014, an additional ferrite ring is required on the power line; it is not supplied with the fan.
- Persons lacking the required physical, sensory or mental ability, experience or knowledge may use the fan only under supervision. Keep it away from children.
- A damaged power cable must be replaced by the manufacturer.
- The motor is part of the fan and must not operate without an impeller or load.
- After unpacking, repackage the product for storage. Store it in a clean, ventilated warehouse at -40 deg C to +80 deg C, below 95% RH, without corrosive gases, and at least 15 cm above the floor.
