Speed Control Settings
The fan supports full-speed operation, 0-10 VDC voltage control, PWM control from 1 kHz to 10 kHz, and a 10 kOhm potentiometer. For voltage control, the fan starts above 1.0 VDC and stops below 0.5 VDC. For PWM control, the recommended amplitude is 10 VDC.
Note
Connect the power and control lines strictly according to the wiring diagram.
Do not connect the white signal wire directly to the red signal wire or an external DC power supply.
The yellow and red wires may be connected together for full-speed operation.
If the fan does not start, check the speed-control input voltage. Do not touch the impeller or rotor after power is applied.
The fan takes several seconds to start. Keep clear of the impeller and rotor while energized or operating at low speed.
Before power-on, confirm that the motor is installed securely and the rotor turns without collision, interference or jamming.
Do not pull the power cable, drop or impact the motor, or flush the motor with water.
The motor must not be operated without an impeller or load.
Store repackaged units in a clean, ventilated warehouse at -40 deg C to +80 deg C and relative humidity not exceeding 95%, without corrosive gas and at least 15 cm above the ground.
Install the fan out of children's reach.
Life and Maintenance, Warranty
The design life is 50,000 hours, limited by ball-bearing life at 40 deg C. Actual service life varies with temperature, humidity, installation method, fan load and other operating conditions.
Clean and maintain the fan every 3-6 months as appropriate for the operating environment.
The complete unit carries a two-year warranty from the delivery date for failures caused by product quality. Damage caused by improper disassembly, handling, man-made damage, natural disasters or force majeure is excluded.
