Speed Setting

  1. Full Speed: Short red and yellow; the fan will run at full speed.
  2. Voltage Control 0–10 VDC (±0.2 V): voltage above 1.0 VDC starts the fan; voltage below 0.5 VDC stops the fan.
  3. PWM Control: PWM duty 0%–100% (±2%); suggested amplitude 10 VDC (±5%); frequency 1–10 kHz; duty above 10% starts the fan and below 5% stops it.
  4. Potentiometer Control: use a 10 kΩ potentiometer; voltage above 1.0 VDC starts the fan and below 0.5 VDC stops it.

Signal Feedback: The fan provides a speed output signal. Vfg and the pull-up resistor are connected by the customer. Vfg=(3.3–30)VDC, R≥1000×(Vfg)Ω. Speed calculation: n=60f/a, where n is fan speed, a is pulses per revolution and f is signal output waveform frequency. Tacho signal output labels: IC, Rb1, Rb2, Rfg, Vce, Vfg, GND and Qa.
