The Blauberg BL-A450C-EC-05 is a 450 mm external-rotor EC axial fan for controlled ventilation and equipment-cooling integration. It operates from a single-phase 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz supply and supports continuous S1 duty.
The plastic impeller rotates counterclockwise when viewed toward the rotor. Integrated motor protection includes locked-rotor, thermal, under/over-voltage, overcurrent and soft-start protection.

The fan provides a speed-output signal. The pull-up resistor is connected by the customer. Vfg = 3–30 VDC and R ≥ 1000 × Vfg Ω.
Speed calculation: n = 60f/a, where n is fan speed, a is the number of pulses per revolution, and f is the signal-output waveform frequency. This model provides 5 pulses per revolution.
Note
Connect the power and control lines strictly according to the wiring diagram to prevent damage to the fan.
Do not connect the white signal wire directly to the red signal wire or an external DC power supply.
If the fan does not operate after start-up, check the speed-control input voltage and wiring. Do not touch the impeller or rotor after energising.
The fan may take several seconds to start after power-on. Do not touch the impeller or rotor while energised or operating at low speed.
Persons without the required physical, mental or sensory ability or practical experience must use the fan only under responsible supervision. Keep out of reach of children.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer.
The motor is part of the fan and must not be operated without the impeller or load.
After opening the packaging, repackage the product for storage. Store it in a clean, well-ventilated area at -40°C to +80°C, relative humidity no more than 95%, without corrosive gas, and at least 15 cm above the ground.
